Corn Cockle begins to bloom in spring, and pretty blooms appear until mid-summer attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. It is a cottage garden favourite that is often planted with other similar annuals for the best display. It is best grown in full sun or light shade and moist, but well-drained soil. Corn-Cockle makes an excellent, long-lasting cut flower.
