Remember! A lot of sprays are poisonous to bees! Make your own organic garden spray that kills aphids(greenfly) instead! 🐝🐝🐝🐝
1. Mix a few drops of peppermint oil with some water in a spray bottle and spray on plants with aphid infestations.
2. Blast Greenfly off the stems and the underside of the leaves with the water hose first. Then make an Essential Oil solution of 10 drops each of Lemon and Rosemary Oil with a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid. Spray the stems, leaves, and the ground surrounding your roses twice a week to get rid of aphids/greenfly. This also works quite well on white flies.
3. I also use chopped up garlic, washing up liquid, tee-tree oil and add to a a spray bottle filled with water, leave for a few days before use, use as required!
